Audition Notice
Stage Door Theatre proudly announces auditions for our 50th Season production, “The Mad Hatterpillar,” a puppet-centric children’s musical written and directed by the talented Rachel Frawley.
Audition Details:
- Date: Monday, November 6th
- Time: 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM
- Location: Stage Door Theatre
About “The Mad Hatterpillar”: Join us on the enchanting journey of Maddie, a unique caterpillar who sheds her head at each new stage of life, stacking the molted heads upon her new one. What begins as a surprise soon transforms into an essential story of sustainability, acceptance, and self-love.
Production Details:
- Production Dates: January 26th – February 10th
- No puppetry experience necessary.
- Written and Directed by Rachel Frawley
Audition Requirements:
- Attire: Please arrive dressed appropriately for movement.
- Preparation: Prepare the sides and music for the character you are auditioning for
- Character Breakdown is provided in the audition form.
Audition Protocol:
- A professional reader will be provided.
- Musical accompaniment will be facilitated via an in-room speaker system.
Compensation:
- Actor Pay: $1200
- Understudy Pay: $400, with an additional $100 stipend for each performance.
