Stage Door Performing Arts Academy

The Stage Door Performing Arts Academy serves to educate and inspire children and young adults ages 3 through 18 in the performing arts. Offerings taught by our team of theatre professionals and educators include acting, musical theatre, film, costuming, set design, performance opportunities, and so much more!

Sr Company

Audition Required
This is Stage Door Performing Arts Academy’s advanced performance company. The Sr Company performs in the Fall & Spring musicals as well as the Winter Showcase. Each year Sr Company members will also be invited to audition for a Stage Door Theatre production alongside our professional actors.
Rehearsals: Mondays 5:00-7:00pm & Wednesdays 5-6:30pm
Tuition: $980/semester

Jr Company

Audition Required
This is our performance company for ages 6-12. Jr Company is where students practice foundational performance skills. Students perform in the Winter Showcase and the Spring musical.
Tuition: $550/semester

Auditions

Step into the spotlight and join our Jr & Sr Company of actors!
Ages 6-12 will be considered for Jr Company.
Ages 11-18 will be considered for Sr Company.
Auditions for the Sr Company production of PUFFS or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic will be on Friday June 2nd.

Dress Code

Acting: closed-toe shoes, clothing comfortable for movement, hair out of face
Dance: jazz shoes, ballet shoes, tap shoes, or sneakers, fitted clothing required, leotard or similar highly encouraged, loose hair tied back neatly out of face.

Story Ballet: ballet shoes and clothing comfortable for movement required, leotard or similar highly encouraged, loose hair tied back neatly out of face.
Jr & Sr Company: Jazz shoes or sneakers, all black clothing comfortable for movement, hair tied back neatly out of face.
