Justin Ball (Producing Artistic Director)
Justin Ball is an accomplished producer, educator, director, and theatre manager with over 20 years of leadership experience. He has produced shows and events for Manhattan Theatre Club, Playwrights Horizons, the Writers Theatre, Penguin/Random House, and Google. For over a decade, Justin taught theatre management and directing at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Most recently, Justin served as Managing Director for the Sharon Playhouse helping to transform a local community theatre into a small professional summer stock theatre featuring the industries top talent including Tony Winners Bryce Pinkham, Lindsay Mendez, Karen Ziemba and Academy Award winner Glenn Close. He moved to Atlanta in 2017 where he was a stay-at-home Dad for his now 5-year old daughter Josephine. He holds a BFA in Theatre & Dance from Trinity College and an MFA in Directing from Brooklyn College.
Caylyn (JV) Jarmon Vinson, M.Ed. (Director of Education)
Caylyn Jarmon-Vinson (she/her) is a theatre artist with an extensive background in performance & education. She’s toured all across the country with different theater’s, serving both as a teaching artist & as a performer. Caylyn holds a BFA in Performance as well as a Master’s of Education in Theatre Education. This training, along with her touring experience (Hampstead Stage Company, Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre, Bright Star Touring) & few years as a Title I educator bring a unique perspective to Stage Door. Caylyn has a passion for theatre & is excited to be a part of the impact that Stage Door makes on the community!
Lilly Baxley (Production Manager)
Lilly is a Georgia native and stage manager at heart with over ten years of experience leading productions. Lilly was the resident assistant stage manager with the Shakespeare Tavern Playhouse for six years before joining Stage Door and works as a freelance artist with the Aurora. Lilly loves stage managing as well as production managing, Intimacy direction, directing, and scenic painting. Her favorite recent project was assistant stage managing Mary Poppins at the Aurora.
Nidalas Simone Madden – Audience Development Manager
Nidalas (Knee-Dallas) Simone is an Atlanta-based artist who has worked across the Atlanta theater for over 5 years. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University in Education and Writing. She has previously worked as the brand manager for Kid Next Code and QoreInsights before turning her sights back to the arts. She recently graduated from the Atlanta Shakespeare Company apprentice program, where she spent 9 months honing her skills as a performer. She has worked with Stagedoor for over a year as an educator. She is now leveraging her imaginative nature and organizational skills at Stage Door to bring sparkle to our marketing team. She looks forward to developing with Stagedoor Theatre as the resident “box office wizard.”
